Galaxy Note has well known reputation in Samsung’s line up. Latest Galaxy Note 9 packs some great new features including S Pen but users of this Samsung’s new flagship feel it like refinement of phablet and not very bold step from the Samsung Company.

Remote Control S Pen: Now it can connect with Bluetooth. Users can use it for skipping tracks, presentations and even for selfies.

Bigger Battery: The big 4000 mAh battery gives improved battery time than Note 8’ battery time.

Camera with AI: Dual Camera in Note 9 is equipped with AI technology to recognize twenty different scenes an also provide settings to make adjustments in settings for best shots.

DeX without dock: You will only require HDMI cable and adopter to turn it into a mini PC without any other accessory.

Water Cool: To avoid the overheating issue and good performance it uses water carbon fiber.

Galaxy Note 9 comes in two color versions, Ocen Blue and Lavender Purple. Although I like both versions but Lavender purple looks more attractive than the other. Yellow colored S Pen comes with ocean blue version that can be used to write the in yellow color on display screen in screen-off mode is a pleasant touch.

The Note 9’s display is bit larger than Note 8’s display. Although the difference is not much but this makes it biggest screen Samsung in Note devices. It’s little bit heavier than Note 8 which is unnoticeable.

A noticeable move by Samsung in new Note 9 is fingerprint sensor position which has been plced beneath the camera making it easier to use even for small hands.

S Pen and remote Control

One thing that gets better and better with each version of Note is its S Pen and Note 9’s S Pen has Bluetooth connectivity feature that makes it possible to use it like remote control rather than only simple stylus. Remote button with S Pen is an awesome feature and it will become more customizable after access of S Pen remote SDK to developers. Any app can be opened with long press on button if settings are done in S Pen remote settings and different other action can also be assigned on single or double click. We expect that companies will create and launch apps supported with S Pen actions soon.

What will be more easing than holding S Pen in one hand and smartphone in other hand at any angle and taking a photo without pressing the shutter. S Pen’s battery does not drain very fast as it get recharged whenever you put it in slot of the phone. Note 9’s S Pen comes with all the other features that Note 8 holds including writing ability when screen-off, turning notes into gifs and translating language by highlighting text.
